SRM University 2022 Introduction

SRMJEE is conducted by Sri Ramaswamy Institute of Science and Technology Formerly Known as SRM University, Chennai. The full form of SRMJEE is SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering, is a national level entrance exam conducted for admissions to B.tech and M.tech degree programmers. Every year nearly 1.7 Lakh candidates appear of SRMJEEE. Through this exam student can apply for SRM group of Universities which are SRM Institute of Science & Technology, SRM University AP – Amravati and SRM University AP – Amravati and SRM University Haryana – Sonipat.

SRM University is recognized by university grants commission, India. Removal of Negative marking system: in 2017 Negative marking system was removed from SRMJEE.

SRM University 2022 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: SRM University will be given to the candidates for solving the question paper.
• Types of Questions: There will be multiple choice questions (MCQ) just in the examination.
• Medium: Medium of the examination will be English Language.
• Total Question: Question Paper will consist of total 125 questions.
• Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 3 marks will be provided.
• Negative marking: there will be no negative marking in the exam.

SRM University 2022 Cut Off

SRMJEE Cut off will be the minimum marks set by the authority for every exam participated candidate as per their category. Candidates will have score more than the prescribed cut off marks for their category to be eligible for the further rounds of admission. Candidates will be able to check the cut off marks through the website of exam conducting authority. Also, for the ease of candidates we will provide the direct link to access the cut off marks for the SRM University 2022 examination.

SRM University 2022 Counselling

The counselling procedure is conducted by the exam conducting authority for every exam qualified candidates. SRMJEEE Counselling process has been started from 25th January 2022 for phase 1.

Authority has conducted the counselling procedure in the various rounds on the basis of availability of vacant seats after each round of counselling. The seats in the offered programs are allotted on the basis of candidates rank in the merit list. For second phase, counselling is started from 1st May 2022.
