National Testing Agency (NTA) administrates the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical admissions in India. Once the result announcement as well as the release of the All-India rank list, Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has to shoulder the tasks. Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) conducts counseling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and State counseling Authorities conduct counseling for State Quota seats.
The NEET 2022 syllabus comprises three subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The syllabus is the same as that of CBSE Class 11 and Class 12. However, a few topics of the syllabus are not taught in these classes. Candidates are advised to go through the syllabus before they start preparing for the entrance test. It is expected that the NEET syllabus 2022 will remain the same as that of last year.
Students have to go to the respective colleges for 85% of seats in state medical colleges to fulfill the admission procedure. Since NEET counseling for State Quota is conducted by colleges themselves so students have to contact their respective colleges to know everything about counseling and admission
Note: The state counsel committee fills 85 % of state quota seats of medical colleges. Any NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in AIQ ( All India Quota seats) and SQ (State quota) counseling.
