Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws (B.Sc LL.B) is a prestigious 5-year integrated undergraduate program that merges scientific principles with legal expertise. This interdisciplinary course is designed for students who wish to understand the intersection of technology, medicine, or environment with the legal system. It prepares graduates for specialized legal careers in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), environmental law, forensic science, and corporate law across India and the global market.
B.Sc LL.B is a professional dual-degree program that allows students to earn two degrees in a single integrated timeline. It focuses on balancing scientific disciplines (like Chemistry, Biology, or Physics) with core legal subjects. This combination is highly valued in modern litigation and corporate sectors where technical knowledge is required to interpret complex legal cases, particularly in patent filing, cybercrimes, and pharmaceutical regulations.
Science Domain: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science

12th pass (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology) with a minimum of 45% to 50% aggregate marks. Candidates from other streams are generally not eligible for this specific integrated combination.
Admission is primarily based on national-level law entrance exams such as CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), LSAT-India, AILET, or SLAT. Many state-level universities also conduct their own Common Entrance Tests (CET) for integrated law programs.
Upon successful completion of the degree, graduates must enroll with the Bar Council of India (BCI) and clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) to obtain a license to practice law in Indian courts.
As per the latest Supreme Court and Bar Council guidelines, there is currently no strict upper age limit for seeking admission to integrated law courses, provided the candidate meets the academic eligibility.
