Agad Tantra is a specialized 3-year postgraduate program in Ayurveda that bridges ancient wisdom with modern forensic science. Agad Tantra systematically studies poisons (Agad), their classification, properties, effects on the human body, detection methods, treatment protocols, and forensic implications. It combines toxicological science with medical jurisprudence to support legal investigations, court proceedings, and public health safety. The program prepares graduates for critical roles combining clinical Ayurveda with modern forensic applications.

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC categories).
Admission is generally based on national or state-level PG entrance exams such as:
AIAPGET (All India AYUSH PG Entrance Test) NEET-PG (as an alternative qualifying exam) State-Level PG Entrance Examinations as per respective state regulations
Valid registration with the State Ayurveda Medical Council or an equivalent regulatory body.
No upper age limit restriction as per the latest government regulations.
